  Usually a good source of tools, and supplies, but today's visit fell short of expectations. The specified/requested product --a customary one for them -- was not available (with no explanation) and the desired "tool" was in stock in only one drastically over-priced model. The store associates were unfamiliar with the items and of very little help. Very disappointing to have to buy/accept something less than you really wanted.

  Just bought a few items from the home depot in foley, al. This is alabama, so they dont care about vetetans and the refused to give my husband the discount. We won't be back and advise all veterans to not go to this store. The service desk didn't care at all.

  "Management starts from the top down." Boy is this true... I have been involved in a few enterprises over the years, and Home Depot has been a major part of them since 1994. I am a lifelong Massachusetts resident and my fiance and myself moved to Foley about seven months ago. Into a very distressed property I might add. Since we got here last October I have been in this store literally every day, sometimes several times a day. And out of all the Home Depot's I have been in this is my favorite. Mike Flechas the store manager is fantastic. He is surrounded by so many great support staff I am sure I will forget someone. From my early encounters with Roger in electrical, ( forget the guy in the beer commercial, Roger is the most interesting man in the world) and John too. Both very knowledgeable. To Toni at the service desk, Steve the cashier, Daniel in lumber, Trish in contractor services. Kenny in plumbing, the lovely woman in appliances, and all the wonderful girls manning the registers. I know I am leaving someone out so please forgive me if I did not mention you by name. Home Depot definitely cares about their customers. This may sound fake at this point but I am a former General Contractor and am not just going in for paint. It is all true. I wish I could give them 10 stars. I forgot to mention Michael G in hardware and tools. He went way above and beyond in grabbing a ladder. Then climbing way up to the top of the store shelves to dig out a great Husky shop vac for me. Always asking me if I need any help also. He is a super employee. Sincerely Christopher Bella
