  Disingenuous. Purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer and a Maytag dishwasher on two separate occasions. Both the sales and delivery process we're pleasant and uneventful. We live in Robertsdale and, of course, the store is in Foley. When we purchased the items, the salesman assured us they serviced what they sold. Well, Whirlpool dryer required service and called Benson's and scheduled service. The day service was scheduled they called and left a message stating we we're outside their service area and they could not service the dryer. After I called back and voiced my displeasure, they put me on hold and came back and told me they would make an exception this time but they would have to reschedule the service for another day. Told the clerk no thanks and asked to speak to a manager and was transferred to Debbie. Debbie stated her salesman told me they would not service what they sold me based on where we live (not true..why would I have bought from them). Also asked why they couldn't have told me this when I made the service appointment and she rudely stated that she couldn't be expected to know every road in Robertsdale....I recommended she use Google maps in the future since her error forced me to reschedule an entire day waiting on them. In short, their salesman lied to get the sales and their service scheduling staff are rude and incompetent. My wife and I served a combined 50 years in the military and we prefer to support local businesses, because they are the foundation of this country. However, this business and its staff are a disgrace and I strongly recommend you take your business elsewhere.
